Moving Images Appropriate for Art

Alternative and creative. Site must be viewed at 1024 X 1168 resolution.
This is a wonderful JavaScript program allowing the audience to interact with image objects on the screen and to move them. Click and drag the objects below and they will move to wherever you like.

We have used pictures and frames in this example. You can scroll the screen and the program retains the position of the image that was placed by you. Until you hit the refresh button, you are in command.

Our paintings are from the public domain and shots we got at the Boston Museum of Fine Art. Our frames are GIFS, created in Adobe PhotoShop. This script uses dynamic positioning to place the images.

The team at elle A Designs loves this program. We have made two versions of it, in this website alone, (See Moving Images 2) and we have used it for other purposes. One purpose was to create images of very descriptive words which could be used to write poetry. This became a children's game and teaching aid on a church site. We can think of many ways a website could use this script very productively. Any thoughts you might have on how your website could benefit from this script? Contact Us.
