Sites Developed and Designed with Fireworks

Alternative and creative. Site must be viewed at 1024 X 1168 resolution.
Macromedia Fireworks is an HTML application which allows you to import and design with graphics. The program will create graphics for buttons, banners, links, mouseovers, headers, tables, and borders.

This program will also map and cut your JPEG images while writing the HTML to create a web page completely comprised of graphics. Our designer decided to put fireworks to the test with fantastic results.

Below, to illustrate the power of this program, are six pages with completely different graphics, which were created with Adobe Photoshop and then imported into Fireworks for the final assembly.

Each page contains six mouseover links across the top of the page, with a three image banner below that, and then containing another nine links down the left side of the page, also using mouseovers. The text table uses a background image and is expandable to include more written text. The page is designed as a "skin". The images of all six pages are of the same dimensions and can be used interchangeably into each page very easily. The pages, in essence are all contstructed of the same HTML code with only the images being different. The final graphic was cut using a Fireworks template. Each page is identical to the other except for the graphics used. What an impact graphics make to otherwise bland HTML coding. Each page has it's own impact with it's aim to interest completely diverse audiences. Many web design companies churn out websites in just this manner, except that our designer took a lot more iniative to design pages that are so diametrically opposed that they appear to be more than cookie cutter graphics and pages.
