Artist's Notes: This piece I call 'Earth Cemetary'. There are many ways to read this depiction but with a little detective work and study of the circumstances portrayed in this piece, you would probably come up with the scenario I imagined and then created visually. You might notice that an airplane lies broken on top of a saucer. Buildings are broken and the contents have spilled out onto the street. The UFO has crashed into a church. The devil himself stands in the middle of the conflagration. An angel on high oversees the debris from above the land line. In the distance the land is coming back to nature after laying fallow for many generations. The eye of God also overlooks the regeneration and we should understand that the devil also is able to rise from the buried layers of destruction. But without man's presence on the planet, these forces have no one to control and manipulate. I surmise that mankind is ultimately in charge of our own fate.
