JC Flash Vision
(Computer Art)
Created with Adobe Photoshop and scanned drawing.

Artist's Notes: The images for this presentation were created from an initial scan of a 4 x 6 photograph made of a 16 x 20 painting. The original JPEG was then rendered with 25 different filtration options, using Adobe Photoshop software. These images were then imported into a Flash Shockwave Program and the final touches of animating the images was done. When I originally started doing photography, I conceived of a notion to do paintings that could be incorporated into a slideshow and could dissolve together on a lenticular rear projection slide screen. I am happy to say that computers have made my concept amazingly easy to render and it looks great too. The only problem is that these images exist only in cyberspace. I could print the images, and paint them from the prints. Or I could do, as some artists do, sell the computer image prints as art. But I did not create this art. A machine did.
