St. Laurent Centre is proud to donate space for the Friendly Corner Centre, located on the lower level past Florida Fitness. Run by the City of Ottawa Public Health department, Friendly Corner offers different activities, seminars, and social opportunities for people of all ages throughout the year.

The Friendly Corner Chair Exercise Program is a great option for the 50+ crowd. Exercises are designed for people with low mobility or who have not exercised regularly. Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday.

Parenting Classes are held with sessions focusing on all issues related to parenting for moms and dads in need of a little extra support.

The Friendly Corner hosts guest speakers in seminars and worksphops, focusing on important topics such as breast-feeding, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

Are you looking for a way to get a bit of exercise, meet people, and have fun? Join our Wild About Walking club. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, members walk the centre together.
