Banners are the key to Success

Alternative and creative. Site must be viewed at 1024 X 1168 resolution.
A typical banner includes a company's logo and it is an advertising tool. Banners are traded by and between sponsors of websites as a reciprocal marketing favour.

Most websites will incorporate a 'links' page where partner and affiliate banners are placed. ABC Renovation Company uses partner firms for specialty work included in renovations.

On ABC Reno's website, their links page advertises their partners with placement of banners and links to partner sites. The partner firms reciprocate with links back to ABC Renovations.
In this manner, ABC Reno's potential customer can also check out the work that will be contracted out by ABC Reno. This gives buyers a more complete picture of the people who they will be dealing with during a renovation. ABC's partners include material providers such as lumber, brick, hardware and paint companies. In return for advertising, ABC Reno enjoys wholesale prices and other benefits such as a credit plan. Thus, having a banner is very important to ABC Reno, for generating business and income through discount prices and plans.

Banners are typically of similar dimensions and can be animated or stationery. From there, you can go anywhere, usually incorporating the company's logo and an advertising message, which can be animated. Banners are usually in the form of GIFs and can be emailed as attachments to your partner's web department for insertion into their web site.

Banners can be created with an existing logo which is scanned into a digital file. Using Adobe Photoshop the logo is sized to fit the banner dimension. The marketing or advertising message is then applied artistically to create either a stationery or an animated GIF banner. Sounds easy doesn't it? It really is. Please check out some banners, which we have collected, below, some by elle A Design.

Some web sites have affiliate programs where they will pay a percentage of new business profit to affiliate web sites which run their banners. These are generally internet businesses who do not have a physical storefront, so advertising in this way is very important to their profit margin.
